Ordering New Numbers

Australia geographic numbers can be added via 2talk live. Select the Plans and Services and then Add Numbers. In the form that displays select International number from the drop down box and then the number type you required.

To request all other global numbers please open a support ticket stating the number type you require. Please include the city if you are requesting a geographic number. Allow 5 business days for your number to be provisioned.

Porting Existing Numbers

To request the transfer of an existing number you should:
1. Check your existing number is portable
2. If yes, request the port via the porting form in 2talk live for AU numbers, for all other numbers please open a support ticket
3. Porting Times will vary

TF Mobile Bundles

TF mobile bundles are best for customers with 2talk toll free numbers. They include calls from NZ mobiles to 2talk toll free numbers and calls from 2talk numbers to NZ mobiles.







Please note: Bundles are mutually exclusive and you can only add one type to each plan. Once you use up the mobile minutes included with your bundle you will be charged the standard rate for the call. Please see the 2talk rate card for our latest rates.

Additional New Zealand numbers can be added to any 2talk account via 2talk live. We can provide numbers for all calling regions in New Zealand.

Cloud PBX Numbers
Cost: $6 + GST/mth
Cloud PBX numbers include all features, add 2000 local minutes to your account and increase your account channels by 1.
The numbers included with your monthly calling plan can be Cloud PBX numbers or New Zealand Toll Free numbers

DDIs
Cost: $2.50 + GST/mth
DDIs provide limited cloud PBX features and ONLY offer Call Forward Always, Call Forward Unavailable, Call Forward Busy, Call Forward Unreachable and CLI.
DDIs will not add to your bundle minutes or channels
Any DDis added to your account are charged - they are not included in your plan lines
DDIs can only be added to the following business plans: Business Value, Business Go and Business Enterprise

Channels

All 2talk accounts include at least one channel. To confirm the number of channels provided with your plan please check the Work or Home plans tabs.

Additional channels can be added to accounts if required.
Cost: $10 + GSTper block of 5 channels

Reasonable business use applied to all channels.

Customers have two options when connecting their IP capable PBX to 2talk - SIP Peering and Registered Trunks. Both services are available on ALL 2talk accounts and can be configured in 2talk live. Customers simply make the choice that best suits their PBX and business requirements.

SIP Peering

With SIP Peering your device does not have to be registered - instead we route all calls to the IP address you specify in 2talk live when enabling the service. To connect via SIP Peering you will need a static IP address and ensure that there are no firewall rules or NAT blocking traffic between 2talk�s servers and your IP-PBX.

Benefits of SIP Peering are:
Your device does not need to be logged in or registered, so calls will always be routed to your IP-PBX. This means that if your internet connection was reset or went down temporarily you would start receiving calls immediately once your internet connection comes back up (instead of having to wait for a re-registration or login)
You can route all your numbers easily to your IP-PBX with no further configuration required.
If you add more numbers to your account then they will automatically be routed down your trunk.
You save bandwidth since there is no need for SIP registrations or �polling� traffic usually sent to devices that are behind NAT.
You can present any caller ID number down your trunk and if it is not recognised as being on your account then the caller ID will be set to the Pilot number. This makes configuration simpler and avoids outbound calls ever being rejected.

Registered Trunks

If you do not have a static IP address or your IP-PBX is behind NAT then you should not use SIP Peering. Instead you will need to register your device with 2talk and use our �Inbound' and 'Outbound' trunking features to configure your SIP Trunk.

Inbound Trunking
Inbound trunking allow you to have multiple inbound numbers terminate on a single logged-in device. By using this option you can create one or more inbound trunks for your incoming calls.

Outbound Trunking
Outbound trunking allows you to present other direct dial-in (DDI) numbers as Caller ID on your registered trunk without having to register each of those numbers. By enabling outbound trunking on this line you are effectively allowing the presentation of any other number as Caller ID on your account through that registration also.
